BabyNoise: Baby Sleep keeps the information you enter on your device. We do not have a server, we do not have accounts, and we cannot see your content. The app does show advertisements, and the advertising provider collects limited technical information for that purpose. Everything below explains this in full.

1. Who we are

BabyNoise: Baby Sleep is developed and published by jodmdia ("we", "us"), based in Indonesia. For anything relating to this policy or your data, contact us at jodirobins09@gmail.com. This policy applies only to the BabyNoise: Baby Sleep mobile application distributed through Google Play. It does not apply to any other app or website.

2. Information you provide, and where it lives

Everything you create in BabyNoise: Baby Sleep — your entries, settings, notes and any files or photos you add — is stored in the app's private storage area on your device. It is not uploaded to us and we have no technical means of reading it.

  • We cannot recover your data for you. If you lose your device or the app's data is deleted, there is no copy anywhere that we could restore.
  • Uninstalling the app permanently deletes everything it stores.
  • Where the app offers an export or backup feature, use it to keep your own copy of your data.
  • If you have enabled device-level backup by Google on your Android device, that backup is created and protected by Google and governed by Google's terms.

3. Information collected automatically for advertising

BabyNoise: Baby Sleep shows advertisements served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google collects limited technical information from the device, including:

  • the device's advertising identifier;
  • IP address, from which an approximate location may be inferred;
  • device and app information such as device model, operating system version, language and app version;
  • ad interaction and diagnostic information.

This collection is carried out by Google as an independent controller. You can read how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

We do not use any analytics or tracking service beyond the advertising described here, and we do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

  • In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent form (Google UMP) is shown before personalised advertising is used. You can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy settings.
  • On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of personalised ads under Settings → Privacy → Ads.
  • Where the app offers a paid "Remove Ads" option, purchasing it stops ad requests entirely.

4. Purchases

Any purchase offered by the app is handled entirely by Google Play. We never receive your card number or billing details.

5. Permissions

BabyNoise: Baby Sleep asks only for the permissions it genuinely needs, at the moment the relevant feature is used. You can refuse or revoke any permission and the rest of the app will continue to work.

6. Particularly sensitive categories

Information about a child

The app is intended to be used by parents and carers. Any information about a child stays on your device, under your control, and is never used for advertising.

7. Children

BabyNoise: Baby Sleep is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us at jodirobins09@gmail.com.

8. Your rights

Because your content stays on your device, you are always in direct control of it: you can view, edit, export (where offered) and delete it inside the app, and uninstalling the app erases everything it stores.

Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or the CCPA (California), including the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of personal data, and the right to data portability.

  • For the advertising data described above, you can exercise these rights through the Google controls linked in this policy.
  • You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Where the law requires consent (for example for personalised advertising in the EEA/UK), our legal basis is your consent; otherwise we rely on our legitimate interest in funding the app through advertising.

9. Data retention and security

We do not retain your personal data, because it never reaches us. Your content is protected on the device by Android's application sandboxing. Where the app's description says so, additional protections (such as encryption or an app lock) apply. We recommend using a device screen lock so your data is protected if your device is lost or stolen.

10. International transfers

Your content never leaves your device, so it is not transferred anywhere. The advertising data collected by Google may be processed in countries other than your own, under Google's safeguards for international transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

The effective date above marks the current version of this policy. If we make material changes, the updated policy will be published before it takes effect.
